In short: Split Image Online and its tool, Tilesmith, run in your browser. Your images never leave your computer. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies.
Your images and projects
When you open, paste or drop an image, your browser reads it and does all the work itself: splitting, editing and exporting happen on your computer, and the files you download are made there too. Your images are never uploaded, and we never receive them.
Your projects are saved in your browser's own storage on this device, or, if you choose, in a folder on your disk. To remove them, use Delete project in the project menu, or clear this site's data in your browser's settings.
What your browser keeps
Besides your projects, Tilesmith remembers a few preferences in your browser's local storage: light or dark theme, the export you used last, and which panels you had open. They stay on your device and are never sent to us. Split Image Online sets no cookies.
Server logs
Like most websites, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard access logs: your IP address, your browser type, the page you asked for and when. They're used only to keep the site running and secure, are never shared or sold, and are deleted automatically after a short time.
Other services
- Google Fonts. The pages' fonts load from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when you visit. See Google's privacy policy.
- Buy Me a Coffee. If you follow a "Buy me a coffee" link, you leave this site, and their privacy policy applies there.
Nothing else is loaded from anyone else.
Your rights and questions
Apart from the short-lived server logs, we hold no personal data about you. For any question or request about your data, email hello@splitimageonline.com.
